By the tone of her voice, it was obvious the girl wasn't happy. "I can do it by myself." She was keeping herself calm, to an extent, even if it meant nearly running into a wall. 'Honey, please, just let me take you there.' The older females voice said, that being of one of the employee members. She was attempting to lead Belle to the stall of a horse she'd been told she may like to look after for a day or two.
She slipped into the stall, feeling her hands about in front of her. The cane she was supposed to use was lieing outside on the grown, for she refused to look differant than anyone else because of the fact she couldn't see. She felt a cool, smooth object, which she soon discovered was a water bucket. Next, please. Another smoth, plastic bucket told her she was moving her hands over the food. Soon, a nudge came to her back, which was that of a horse. She turned around gently, placing her hands along the neck of a boney animal, but that that would be identified as a horse. He was very thin, and seemed to need alot of work.
The girl bent at her waist, running her hand down the horses leg a few times until he caught on and lifted his foot. She felt gently over his foot, finding something that felt as though a nail in one. Going over the rest of his hooves, she found more faults. "I bet you'd be beautiful if you gain a little weight and get you some hoofwork." She told the horse gently, feeling about the box she'd been given and getting out a few of the grooming tools, running them over his body slowly.
With each stroke, you could feel the ribs of the horse, or some other bone, and it sickened her greatly. "How can people treat you like this?" She asked the horse, knowing she'd get no responce. It was good to have someone who wasn't perfect; To her, everyone seemed perfect, no matter if they couldn't jump the perfect jump and whatnot. "So, your names Splash, eh?" She asked, having overheard a staff conversation.

It'd been a few days since she was able to get a ride back to the adoption center, in which was now her favorite place because of one horse. Splash had poked his head out of the stall upon her leaving, she found out...She found out for she didn't feel it and ran into the horses neck, making her feel like a fool. 'I'd be the biggest fool in the world for you.' She'd told Splash, the underweight, scrangly paint gelding. The day she had spent with him was amazing, and she intended to adopt him. He seemed to know that she wasn't able to find her way about the stall like normal people would.
"Splash...Here, Splash!" She said, having memorized how many stalls down the asile he was. She worked her hands down the stalls, feeling for the number of latches before she came to that assigned one that held the horse. "Hey there, big boy." She whispered, the conversation being meant for only the horse. She reached out, feeling the horses head instantly. She placed her forehead against his, kissing his nose gently. The horse responded with a snort, shaking his head a little before nudging her stomach.
Belle had been told that she could lead the horse out...Well, she had told herself she could, and she hadn't been told she couldn't. She reached for the lead rope, feeling around him and slipping a halter over his head. She'd had quite alot of experience with horses before going sightless. She clipped on the leadings, taking him from the stall slowly and gently and making sure he wasn't going to hit his hips or stomach on the stall door. "Good Splash." She told the horse, letting him lead her, in a sence, down the aisle.
Belle lead the horse until he was out at the pasture. Well, Splash had found it on his own, so she felt down the fence until she could get her hand over the latch, releasing him into the empty field. She debated on going in or not. She could always not see a horse comming for her, but from the sounds of it, there were no other horses there. Finally, she slipped over the fencing and felt about, gettin gher hands on Splash after a moment. She hugged his neck, keeping around him for a few more moments.
ooc-- P.S. I've got permission to double post ^^ These are going to be my four post to adopt Splash. =3
